Question about Information Systems Technology Job in the US Navy?

If I joined the navy and got the job of Information Systems Technology would I have to go into a submarine? Because I really don’t think I would like being in a submarine. Also where would I most likely be doing my job? (like on a carrier or what?) Thanks!
